Usk Vale poultry processing facilities
Our on-farm slaughterhouse and cutting room, are both fully E.C licensed and independently audited by the Meat Hygiene Service, who inspect every bird as it is processed, assuring you that the best hygiene and welfare standards possible are being implemented. We believe this is important information that you can share with your customers. Once processed, the birds are matured for a minimum of ten days in order to enhance their natural flavour and improve their eating quality. We gas flush both our turkeys and large ‘Roaster’ chickens to ensure optimum freshness is maintained.
